Who is the doctor at this practice?
Our Murrysville clinic is led by Dr. Vicente Telles, who is the primary orthodontist at our practice. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Dr. Telles earned his first dental degree and orthodontic training there, then served as a dedicated orthodontist in the Brazilian Navy for seven years. He later relocated to Pennsylvania and completed his Doctorate of Dental Medicine right here at the University of Pittsburgh.

Kind and caring. Very knowledgeable!
2 of my kids were patients here. My son had braces for 5 years needing a fairly difficult correction. 8 years later his bite is perfect, still. My daughter just got her braces off after 3 years. The staff is compassionate and their process lets kids feel in charge of their appointments and I believe improves compliance. After over a decade watching this office work, they are a well oiled machine. They have the process down and are extremely efficient. From insurance approval up to your retainer fitting, you and your kid will be well cared for.
Each staff person there is kind, has such a great way with my kids. We’ve had some common wear and tear issues (like bracket fell off) and they squeezed us in quickly. We use both Penn Hills and Murrysville. And both sites are wonderful.
